DANESHA: Casting Update 21/10/2024

Due to ill health, the role of Dad in Danesha will be played by Chris Hoyle and Lucas Cheong Smith this week.

As we enter into the final week, you can catch Chris Hoyle on Tuesday 22 October at Chester Storyhouse and Saturday 26 October at Unity Theatre Liverpool. Lucas Cheong Smith will play the role on Wednesday 23 October at Chester Storyhouse.

We'd like to say a huge thank you to both actors for stepping into the role at such short notice.

Chris Hoyle

Chris is a playwright, director, actor and theatre maker. He studied acting at The Webber Douglas Academy of Dramatic Art. He worked as an actor from a very early age appearing in various TV roles including Clocking Off, Heartbeat, The Bill, The Last Train and The Royal Today. Recent TV includes Boat Story and Brassic.

Chris most recently worked with Box of Tricks on the tour of The Last Quiz Night on Earth by Alison Carr.

Lucas Cheong Smith
