For the first time, we’re offering 12 Script Surgeries across the year — dedicated one-to-one sessions giving writers the chance to develop their work with tailored dramaturgical support from the Box of Tricks team. It’s a focused, personal way to dig deeper into your script and strengthen your craft.
Our ever-popular Masterclass series returns, bringing writers together in theatres across the region to explore the craft of writing for stage, screen and radio. Led by inspiring artists and industry professionals, these sessions offer space to learn and grow.
We’re partnering with venues across the North to deliver practical Workshops for theatremakers, led by our Artistic Directors and guest creatives. These practical sessions unpack the nuts and bolts of making theatre today - from uncovering your voice to navigating the realities of the current landscape.
New for 2026, PlayMakers Circle offers a monthly online writing space built around accountability, connection and shared creative practice. It’s a supportive environment to keep you writing, keep you motivated and keep you connected.
