Box of Tricks launches national tour of IN DOGGERLAND 12/09/2013

Manchester theatre company Box of Tricks is delighted to announce that throughout November it will be touring the production of award-winning playwright Tom Morton-Smith’s compelling new play In Doggerland.

In Doggerland tells the funny and heartfelt story of four people struggling to move forward under the weight of past trauma. The play explores the themes of organ donation and transplantation; loss and grief; family and home; and what makes up the essence of an individual.

Tom Morton-Smith is an award-winning playwright and former writer-in-residence at acclaimed new writing company, Paines Plough. He is currently under commission with the Royal Shakespeare Company.

The production is the first national touring production for theatre company, Box of Tricks, a new writing theatre company committed to developing and producing the best new work around; discovering, nurturing and promoting the next generation of playwrights.

In Doggerland tours the UK from 7-30 November. Tickets now on sale.
