Box of Tricks is looking for a Design Associate based in the North West, within easy commuting distance of Manchester, to come on board and work alongside our Designer Katie Scott on designing upcoming production TOO MUCH WORLD AT ONCE.
Are you whizz on CAD software or really handy with your model making tools? Do you enjoy rummaging in charity shops to find the right jumper? Want to gain more experience working alongside another designer? This job could be for you!
This role would suit someone with experience of at least three paid/professional shows, who is looking to understand more about touring work, advance their skillset or experience someone else’s design process first-hand. We will need the Associate to act on behalf of the designer on occasion; particularly in the first week of rehearsals. The designer will endeavour to ensure the Associate has 48 hours’ notice before a task needs to be undertaken and will shape the workload around the Associate’s access to software, transport and schedule.
