Box of Tricks is delighted to announce a schedule of Dementia Friendly performances taking place throughout our tour of The Last Quiz Night on Earth.

As part of our commitment to audience development and accessibility, Box of Tricks’ latest tour has a focus on engaging isolated older people and those living with Dementia.

Special Dementia Friendly matinee performances at Hope Mill Theatre, Manchester and the Stephen Joseph Theatre, Scarborough have been programmed to allow people living with Dementia to see this brand-new pre-apocalyptic comedy and quiz.  Additionally, our performance at The Holbeck Working Men’s Club (in association with Slung Low) has been designated as Dementia Friendly to welcome and accommodate those living with Dementia and their carers alongside the venue’s regular audience.

The company and Box of Tricks’ core staff have become Dementia Friends with support from Alzheimer’s UK. We will be working with venues to provide a welcoming environment for those living with dementia, their loved ones and carers.

Should you have any queries, feel free to get in touch with Al Lockhart-Morley (Audience & Marketing Associate) via his e-mail al@boxoftrickstheatre.co.uk.
