PlayMakers: Edinburgh Highlights 27/07/2022

This summer, with the full return of Edinburgh Fringe, we're celebrating by spotlighting local talent and shows from PlayMakers heading north of the border next month.

@i_p_productions Dear Little Loz is on at @theSpaceUK 5th-27th Aug (excluding 14th) - Dear Little Loz is a poetic exploration of love – love for the scabby boys in Blackpool, dodgy dates with Dave and the desperate need for a daddy-daughter connection.

Classic is on at @ThePleasance at 2.40 every day. As many Classic novels as you can imagine live on stage!

My Voice Was Heard But It Was Ignored by Nana-Kofi Kufuor, directed by Dermot Daly. 03 to 28 August at Summerhall (Venue 26) // 17:40 (17:50).

In association with @CurveLeicester comes this dark comedy about a political sex scandal. A bittersweet tale of political campaigns, sexual consent & steam trains. The MP, Aunty Mandy & Me explores coercive control in the gay male community in association with @SurvivorsMcr.

#BloodHarmony, a new uplifting musical play about love, loss and legacy featuring music by @thestaves, beautiful harmonies and stunning visuals. Playing at the @traversetheatre from Tue 2 - Sun 28 Aug.

We Should Definitely Have More Dancing is a new play by @MissCDarcy and @iankershaw. At @aredinburgh Edinburgh Fringe Aug 3 - 18.

Earwig is a beautiful piece of deaf theatre with the stylings & humour of a 1920's silent movie! It tells the story of a deaf entomologist with plenty of art deco decadence! 14:10 each day at @AssemblyFest Front Room!
