Last Quizmas

A new Quizmas play by Alison Carr

11 – 12 December 2020

Move over Comet, Rudolph’s coming to town!

It’s a Christmas miracle! The Four Horsemen pub is back in business although its doors remain shut. If the locals wouldn’t let an apocalyptic asteroid get in the way of their weekly Quiz Night, they’re damned if a global pandemic is going to stop the annual Christmas Quiz.

Landlady Kathy and Quizmaster Rav return with the most festive quiz questions in town. Fran’s on technical support and Bobby’s turkeys are coming home to roost. It’s been a year to remember – or rather to forget! – so dig out your Christmas jumper, grab some eggnog and have your quiz pens at the ready. Let’s get quizzical – all from the safety of your Bublé bubble!

Following our celebrated Covid-curtailed The Last Quiz Night on Earth back in Spring, Box of Tricks are back with Last Quizmas - a digital Lockdown lock-in with a twist. There’s plenty of Zoom at the Inn, and you’re all invited – so join us for a play-at-home quizzical play like no other!

Supported by Box of Tricks' PlayMakers Fund

“Simple but innovative... The Last Quiz Night on Earth is a fantastic night down the pub and at the theatre and was a joy to experience.”
★★★★ North West End (The Last Quiz Night on Earth)
“A well-executed piece of drama that is forged seamlessly around an actual quiz... holds up a mirror to human emotions and frailties... With an excellent blend of humour, pathos and quiz-mastery this is a good story, well told. It is a gem of a show. ”
★★★★ Quays Life (The Last Quiz Night on Earth)
